Our office has a number of different payment options available so you can choose what makes the most sense for you and your family's budget.

We accept cash, check, and major debit and credit cards. We also take both in-network and out-of-network insurance as well as FSAs and HSAs. Don't forget to ask about our cash and senior discounts!

Dental Insurance

Our team is here to help you make the most out of your dental insurance benefits. We will file and track your claims on your behalf and answer any questions we can about your coverage. If you are planning to use your insurance to cover some or all of your treatment costs, we ask that you please bring your up-to-date insurance card so we can have your information on file.

Payment Plans

Helotes Family Dentistry is proud to provide multiple options for patients to finance their dental care: CareCredit®, Cherry payments, and in-house payment plans. CareCredit is a popular third-party financing option that works like a healthcare credit card. After choosing your plan (there are no-interest and long-term ones available), you can pay low monthly payments to cover up to 100% of your treatment costs. Dr. José Brigman

Dr. José Brigman

Part of an Air Force family, Dr. José Brigman was born in Zaragoza, Spain and moved to San Antonio with his family when he was a teenager. He went to St. Mary’s University for his undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry. Afterwards, he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Baylor College of Dentistry, the Texas A&M Health Science Center in Dallas.

Since graduating, Dr. Brigman has kept up with the latest techniques and technologies in the industry by completing numerous continuing education classes, including coursework in sedation dentistry and over 600 hours of orthodontic dentistry training. He is a member in good standing of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, San Antonio Dental Society, Hispanic Dental Association, and the American Orthodontic Association. He was also proud to receive the independent Consumer’s Research Council of America “Top Dentist” designation.

Dr. Brigman’s greatest accomplishments and greatest joys in life are his marriage to his wife, Catherine, and their four beautiful children. Catherine White-Brigman, a native San Antonian, is a pediatric gastroenterologist and she works at Methodist Children’s Hospital. Dr. Brigman looks forward to getting to know you and your family, too.

Dr. Tracie Correa

Dr. Tracie Correa

Dr. Tracie Correa grew up in the Helotes area and attended Baylor University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science Studies. She went on to attend UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Correa taught high school biology, chemistry, and physics. Dr. Correa knew she wanted a career that would allow her to interact with and help people every day. She enjoys challenging her brain and problem solving and believes that dentistry combines all these aspects into one great career that is exciting and emotionally fulfilling. Dr. Correa is excited to serve the community that helped raise her. Whether it is through eliminating a source of pain, restoring function, or improving self confidence by restoring smiles, it brings her great joy to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Outside of the office, Dr. Correa enjoys watching Baylor football, traveling, baking, eating, and spending time with friends, her four children, and her chocolate lab.

Dr. Barrett Beardsley

Dr. Barrett Beardsley

Dr. Barrett Beardsley was born and raised in Southern California. He earned his undergraduate degree in business at Brigham Young University. He then attended dental school at the University of Southern California, after which he became an active-duty officer in the US Army. While stationed in San Antonio, Dr. Beardsley completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Brooke Army Medical Center. His service in the Army has brought him and his family to Seattle, the Mojave Desert and finally back to San Antonio, the city they consider home. He is married with four children who love being Texans. He enjoys golf, surfing (it is possible in the gulf) and camping with his family. As a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery he is prepared to meet all the dentoalveolar surgical needs our patients might have.

Dr. Nicholas Coronel

Dr. Nicholas Coronel

Dr. Coronel grew up in Maryland and always liked working with his hands. He became interested in dentistry when his father began dental school as a second career. After receiving a BS in biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, he attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he met his wife. He continued with a residency in advanced general dentistry, also at the University of Maryland. He practiced dentistry in Virginia while his wife served in the US Navy and in New York while she completed a residency in pediatric dentistry, before they decided to put down roots in Texas.

Dr. Coronel enjoys all aspects of dentistry and staying up to date on the newest technologies and techniques. He strives to treat his patients the way he would want to be treated. He loves the outdoors, and when he’s not at work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He has lived in Helotes since 2018 with his wife, two kids, and five dogs.
